A GALWAY city cinema specialising in showing porn movies may be forced to close down following an inspection from the local authority.
hardcore porn films on a daily basis between 2pm and 2am. He said it is staffed by two men from Eastern Europe, admission is €12 and “tissues are provided”.

    @Trish

I can pass your details on to Phil and have him contact you in relation to getting a copy of the picture. What you see wouldn’t be the whole image as it has been adjusted to fit the size of the banner.

  13. TRISH Says:

Thanks Squid, I am really enjoying the changing aspects of Limerick. Keep them coming! what bout a photo competition titled” Limerick 24 hours, “with shots for each of the 24 hour clock?

  14. Des Says:

Three great photos. Surely all three should get to be in the banner over the next few months

  15. donniedarko Says:

Has anyone got up to date photographs of Thomond Park?
Both munsterfans.com & standupandbuild.com are showing old ones.
    Cheers

  16. Roisin Says:

Is this The Limerick City Blogger then? Have there been any banner photos of the County?

  17. Squid Says:

Photos from the County are welcome. I can’t exactly force readers from the county to send pictures in.

  18. Angry Man Says:

If anybody’s interested there’s a group on Flickr with lots of Limerick Photos.

    http://www.flickr.com/groups/limerick/

I know lots of people based abroad have expressed delight at seeing nice photos from Limerick so here’s a location you can find some.

  21. Phil Ahern Says:

I’m glad everyone like the photos :-) I am very much an amateur photographer living on Clancy Strand (hence the photos from the river) but unfortunately as an emigrant from Cork, I don’t know Limerick County that well. Anyone got suggestions for nice photo locations in the County and I’ll see what I can do for the coming months?

Hope it’s ok to post email here but if anyone would like a print of anything, you can email me on philahern@gmail.com

  22. Phil Ahern Says:

I also have a limerick set of photos at

Two good shots. King John’s Castle was the winner but I prefer the Clarion sunset - no accounting for taste as they say.
