Wet behind the ears: Finch wins the Irish open

There have been comments made about Richard Finch’s inexperience in professional golf, however he really was wet behind the ears on the eighteenth hole at Adare this afternoon.
Whilst he was able to keep his ball out of the River Meige, which transverses the eighteenth green, he was unable to keep himself out, taking a brief dip in the process.
It was not all bad though Finch finnished at ten under par to win the Irish Open, and with the prize money from today’s win, he will be able to splash out on a dry set of clothes.
