The Irish Open - Day 3

As expected, the weekend brought in the extra numbers and this was evident in the amount of traffic snaking it’s way through the norrow roads into Adare today.

While those not lucky enough to get a ticket or who were simply not interested in golf enjoyed the festivities in the town’s park, it was another closely run race on the field of play at Adare manor.

Bradley Dredge of Wales is currently in the lead after the third day of play, he now stands at nine below par. He is being hotly pursued by two Englishmen, Richard Finch, who is eight under par and Lee Westwood who is seven under.

The best the Irish could hope for was joint nineth place between Gary Murphy and Rory McIlroy, who are both four under.
