Makes you wonder
Below is the video which saw eight employees of Bulmers in Clonmel fired. Considering the company laid off people last year one would think those still with a job would take more responsibility than this.
Be warned: contains banana phone soundtrack.

Did the fella who done a moonwalk get the chop as well? Right job for him!!
And that fella who done the thing with his tongue should never of been given a job in the first place…. somebody needs to be held accountable.

Do you ever tire of being outraged at absolutely everything? They’re having a laugh at work, not murdering children. The self-righteousness is really unnecessary.

lol @ berbs!! So true..
i’ve seen worse go on in companies than that..their only mistake was youtube-ing it. Its usually the companies that have let people go that this kind of stuff goes on in. Moral is low, work is minimal and people are just trying to pass the time til the next round of lay offs.
People should lighten up…

No Ann but the dude in the fork lift is some pilot. He should have got a promotion if anything what you think?

Weren’t those fellows prize ejits for messing about at work? And yes some of the feck acting was dangerous. (the forklift, being one) So yes they all deserved to be fired. They should have been thanking God they hadn’t been left go last year, Johnny.

Very funny.
Very mild in comparison to what we got up to in verbatim in Raheen many years ago.

I wonder was it because of the portrayal of the management got got them sacked.
tbh, there’s goofing like this in every job, while letting the forklift off on its own was OTT and of course the utter stupidity of taping the entire show probably questioned the collective IQ, the entire episode hardly warranted red cards. Suspensions at the most.
I’ve seen worse / better…..(depending on which side of the fence your on).. in a lot of jobs. Not least btw from a few members of management of a local firm - also involved in my trade - who were attending an exhibition in the UK and staying in the same hotel I was in at the time. They “managed” to get balubas drunk and later got up to some high jinks involving fire extinguishers/hoses, banging on doors, bawling out windows and still pissed, making a show of themselves at breakfast before heading home. Now that was all on company time/expenses. The irony being, one of these same characters who had run up and down a Birmingham hotel lobby spraying a fire extinguisher at everyone and anyone a few months later - had two guys sacked because they were throwing small plastic bags of water at people from the roof of that factory during summer. Kettle / Pot came to mind when I heard that one.

Go on Hoof tell us some real Jackass stories….bet everyone has some !

Everyone who has worked in a few factories certainly does Ann, no need to think I’ve got a monopoly on them. Far from it.
Sarcasm aside, I was merely pointing out that when it comes to determining sacking/punishment it depends which side of the fence you’re on, in regards to whether you get fired or receive a friendly pat on the back for similar behaviour on company time.
