Justice Minister joins thousands to pay tribute to fallen emergency workers
The Minister for Justice Michael McDowell was in County Limerick this evening to join thousands of mourners who came out to pay tribute to Garda Brian Kelleher and fireman Michael Liston, who died on Sunday in a traffic accident on the N69 between Askeaton and Foynes.
Minister McDowell attended the removal of Garda Kelleher at Daffy’s Funeral Home in Croom, and also called to the family home of Michael Liston to offer his sympathy.
The Junior Minister for Health Tim O’Malley and the Secretary General for the Department of Justice, Sean Aylward accompanied the Justice Minister.
