Euromillions winner’s son involved in bust-up
The son of Euromillions winner Dolores McNamara was arrested yesterday after a row in the city involving the fifteen year old son of murdered criminal Kieran Keane, reports the Irish Independent.
Gary McNamara (26) was detained for several hours at Henry Street Garda station after the incident. Mr. McNamara told Gardai that he was defending himself.
Kieran Keane Jr. (15) received treatment at the Mid-West Regional Hospital for his injuries, which are not said to be serious.
The row happened in the Garryowen area of the city at the house where Kieran Keane Snr. was living at the time of his death.
Earlier this week, A car was burnt out outside the house of Kieran Keane’s widow.
Gary McNamara is the cousin of Anthony “Noddy” McCarthy, one of the men convicted of the murder of Kieran Keane Snr.
